A healthy and green version of the popular Mango Tango. Spinach and basil add a list of health benefits, including fat burning, boosting of the immune system and detoxification and heart-healthy anti-oxidants, to this otherwise typical fruit smoothies.
Ingredients (4 servings)
- 3 organic strawberries
- 1 mango, peeled
- 2 basil leaves
- 1-2 cups of organic fresh baby spinach
- Place ingredients in a blender, add ice and puree until smooth. It will need at least two minutes. The trick is to put the leaves in first with very little fluid volume and then add fruit to reach a smooth consistency. Drink immediately to take full advantage of all the nutrients.
